Two major Marketplace Chaplains USA clients and friends, David Weekley Homes (DWH) and 89.3 KSBJ Christian Radio along with Houston-area chaplains are partnering together in the BP MS 150 Ride to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

This exciting event will take place April 16-17, 2011, on a course almost 180 miles starting in west Houston and finishing in Austin. Presently, there are roughly 15,000 cyclists registered.

Marketplace Chaplains Vicky Landry, Colin Millar, and Brian Horner are joining David Weekley Homes and 89.3 KSBJ Christian Radio’s team, “Team Hope.”  Together, they have pledged to raise nearly $2,500.

In addition to supporting a worthy cause, the partnership allows Marketplace Chaplains, clients and friends alike, a chance to spend quality time together with dozens of employees and their family members.

The ride is one of the biggest charity fundraisers of any type in the nation, raising literally tens of millions of dollars to battle
Multiple Sclerosis.

“Most importantly, we are thankful that in some small way we can be used to raise some awareness towards battling this dreaded disease,” said Chaplain Brian Horner.
