Marketplace Chaplains’, America’s largest and original workplace chaplaincy provider, newest division, Senior Living Chaplains, is using a 21st Century solution to combat the growing issues that face the rising elderly population in the U.S.

Senior Living Chaplains recently released a new short video production http://youtube/-qYBHC6-1p8 showcasing its service.

According to the U.S. government organization, Administration on Aging, www.aoa.gov, people age 65 and older represented 12.9% of the American population in the year 2000, and are expected to increase to 19% by 2030.

The Senior Living Chaplains’ service offers hope, care and compassion to senior clients, caregivers and their family members during what is often a very pressurized and stressful environment.

The video, produced by Fusion Productions and Todd Simms, shows how this unique strategic advantage of offering Senior Living Chaplains can help save administrators, and companies alike, thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours, as the comprehensive and turnkey approach includes: identifying, selecting, training, and leading of the chaplain team.

Among the leading senior living companies already using this service is Missouri-based Bickford Senior Living, which has been with the parent organization, Marketplace Chaplains, for more than a decade.

Other companies include innovative Texas-based client companies such as Touchstone Communities and TRISUN Healthcare, LLC; Louisiana-based Central Management Company; and Diversicare Management Services, with locations throughout the South and Southeast regions of the U.S.

Senior Living Chaplains provide dedicated support and help on a comprehensive basis to employees, residents, patients and their families through Senior Living Chaplain Care Teams.  The Teams:

  • Proactively build      personal and confidential relationships
  • Respond to crises
  • Perform weekly      ceremonies and services
  • Understand local nuances      and connections to other support entities

The video has already been shown at several Senior Living trade shows and is available for viewing on YouTube and directly from Senior Living Chaplains’ website, www.seniorlivingchaplains.com.

“This 21st century platform which reaches an unlimited number of individuals, shows firsthand how utilizing Senior Living Chaplains can positively impact the needs of our growing senior population, and those who care for them,” said Richard S. De Witt, President and COO of Marketplace.

Together, Senior Living Chaplains and Marketplace Chaplains provide chaplain care in 44 states, 4 countries, and 1 commonwealth, with more than 2,700 chaplains serving in 973 cities and 2,983 worksite locations.
