Danone Simpson, CEO at Montage Insurance Solutions in Woodland Hills, California, shares how they create a caring culture for their employees: “We have shout-outs praising employees when they earn a sincere praise from a client or one of their employees. We pay for gym memberships, have yoga twice per week, have team building exercises, potlucks and fun activities. We work hard and play hard. Children are allowed. I have an employee returning to work with her infant son for as long as she needs. We utilize Marketplace Chaplains and I pray wherever my Chaplain and I happen to be. She is a great mentor for the employees as they go through their life experiences. Life happens, and she is there to help them through it. Giving employees the tools and support they need in their jobs and work life balance are crucial.  What they do with that is up to them.”
